Looks like we made it................

Well, I must say, its been quite a few weeks!
The move has gone rather swimmingly other than a few teething troubles.
After two weeks of tripping over randomly placed objects, our belongings are finally making themselves at home. We have been munching mainly on sandwiches, crisps and fruit (naughty but nice), and after the initial pandemonium, it has felt a bit like posh camping!

Mr B and myself even managed to have some fun! (Cheeky!)
 Not that kind!!!

We went to see Morrissey, (the man of my dreams) at Bradford St Georges Hall, and it was more than thrilling! Excited does not even cover it.
I have been a fan since my teens but for whatever reason this was the first time I was able to see him live.
He performed quite a few Smiths songs that I wasn't expecting, and it was certainly a bit of a nostalgia trip for me, at several points I had a lump appear in my throat, and had to dab a little tear from my eye.
It was definitily a very memorable night for me, and one that I will never forget..........

The teething troubles I mentioned earlier include a rather old fashioned fuse box blowing..(no over head lighting, I am writing this in the pitch black),  a crisis with my camera..(its got chicken pox..hence no photo's)
a rather poorly confused laptop and severly blocked drains....*clips nose*.

Hey ho...until next time........

Irregular Choice...........woof!

Let me get one thing clear. I am, by no means a girly sort of girl.
I am Mrs B, Queen of Converse after all!
However, my lovely sister's impending nuptuals  require some form of ladylike attire, and I have bought and fallen in love with these GORGEOUS irregular choice shoes.
I love the bright green felt upper, handstitched finish and those pinky pooch scottie dogs!
And dont even get me started on the box!!
What I do NOT so much love about them, is they have a three inch heel and I CANNOT walk in heels.
SWEET FEET?
I will be tottering around like John Wayne on stilts, but never mind, at least my feet will look cute for an hour or so!!!!!!!!!

Pastel Inspirations....

I'm a sucker for pale pinks and baby blues.
I just love this spread I came across in Home Buzz, thats a supplement in one of the, "ahem", daily "newspapers".
The flying birds are my favourite,,,,,,,,,,,they are just too cute!   http://www.berryred.co.uk/

And. . .

Finally.

My last pieces all sourced from a local charity shop for pennies. I would love to find some in the pink and green colourways, but it is always the greydawn I come across, maybe its fate!
At the moment these old lovelies are housed in a kind of inbuilt china cabinet and they will need to find a new home in the bungalow, mm....tiny house, no storage space, erm, erm.. well it just HAS to come with us!

It grew to this......

Then this....
I really REALLY should be packing!
But as a great procastinator my philosophy is "why do today what I could do tommorrow?"
Which is why I am browsing through old photos and generally fannying about on my laptop.
At the moment half my life is up for sale on ebay. . . . . . . .basically,  to fit in my beloved bungalow some of the pretties have just got to go!

GREYDAWN

I have been ruthless, but some things are just too precious to me like my Johnson Bros Greydawn Collection.
It  started with a 50p charity shop jug a few years ago.
and then it grew and grew.

Who is sleeping in MY bed?????

Found! In my bed after Daddy left for work. . . . . . . . .Kitty Bobbins snoring for England. . . . . and ikea!

Mmmm...Ovaltine!

Set myself off then...........raided the back of the cupboard, found an old jar of the stuff and made myself the most delicious, steaming, creamy mug of ovaltine ever.
It's been lounging in the back of the cupboard for about two years now, but hey, needs must!
Yum!

Mrs B Bags A Bungalow................

For a while now I have felt pretty much a peeping tom of blogland.
Dipping in and out, curtain twitching, without even a bye or leave!
My guilt over this misdemeanor has prompted me to join the ranks of the rantings....................................
or rather.............
I am waiting for the keys to my new home,  I am excited and in major need of a distraction!
I am rather like a child on countdown to Christmas...just 28 sleeps left till.........
............I GET MY BUNGALOW!

My lovely flirty, thirties bungalow.

Labelled by Prince Charles as "homogenised boxes", and associated with ahem, people of an older disposition, (nearly there, not quite yet),  bungalows have a very small fan club, but I'm in it.........in fact I declare myself President of The Bungalow Fanclub!  Yeah!

I think they are charming, nostalgic and really rather sweet.
Fuddy Duddy?
Maybe, but I am a chintzy, ovaltine loving kinda gal!
